September 2018 visit of Werner Gilsdorf, Doctor of Science in Biology and State Expertise in Chemistry, international pharmacokinetic expert, accompanied by Ivan Loboda, Senior Technical Adviser on Drug Financing of the SAFEMed project. The event was held as part of the state project “Safe, Affordable and Effective Medicines for Ukrainians” (SAFEMed), in conjunction with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). June 2019 – Assistant Ratushna KL – participation in a practical session on research ethics, organized by Clarkson University in conjunction with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York, USA) as part of a master’s program in bioethics at Clarkson University;

In 2020, when the WHO declared a pandemic in connection with the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak, the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy contributed to national measures to combat COVID-19 at the state level:
• Development of the Standard of pharmaceutical care “Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)”, approved by the Orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 663 from 13.03.2020 and №961 from 24.04.2020.
• • Methodological assistance to the structural units of the Office of the President of Ukraine for the organization of measures to combat COVID-19 (letter № 03-01 / 630 dated 21.04.2020). Professor Zupanets IA was appointed National Coordinator of the clinical study of drugs Corvitin and Kvertyn produced by PJSC NVC “Borschagivsky HFZ” in patients with pneumonia associated with 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease, on the background of basic therapy.
