07.10.22 at 16.00 on the platform of the “Clinical Pharmacy” portal, a Webinar on the quality of medicinal products and proper phytopharmaceutical practice was held, which was conducted by the head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy of the National University of Pharmacy, professor, member of the Central Formulary Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Kateryna Zupanets. During the webinar, the following questions from phytopharmaceutical practice were considered: ⠀
- Algorithm for the development of modern multi-component herbal preparations in various dosage forms using the phytoneering technology. ⠀
- The history of the evolution of quality, and important events in world history that significantly affected the requirements for the safety and effectiveness of medicinal products.
- Familiarization with the GxP system through the prism of the development of well-known global pharmaceutical brands.
- The list of registration and regulatory requirements for the circulation of herbal preparations in Ukraine and the world. ⠀
- Features of the development, standardization and production of certain extracts.
- Prospects for the use of herbal medicines in pediatric practice, safety and effectiveness. ⠀
- For the first time, the content of the extraction power and the corresponding coefficient were considered, which allows the pharmacist to distinguish the technological features of herbal preparations of different constituents right at the workplace.
The webinar was attended by more than 280 specialists in the field of pharmacy, as well as students from various higher education institutions, including the National Pharmaceutical University.
